Through 36 holes, Wyndham Clark achieved a career milestone at his 210th start without a bogey. He remains the only player in the field without a bogey through two rounds.
Clark holds his seventh 36-hole lead or co-lead in individual stroke-play events throughout his career. He has converted two of his previous six such leads, winning the 2023 Truist Championship and 2026 U.S. Open.

The BMW Championship positions Woodland at projected No. 17 in FedExCup standings. He attempts to advance to the TOUR Championship for the first time since 2019.
In nine prior BMW Championship starts, Woodland's best finish was T12 in 2018. He competed in the 2018 PGA Championship at Bellerive CC. That field included 17 players competing this week. Woodland finished T6 at that championship.

2025 U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun celebrated his 36th birthday with a 4-under 66. He leads the field with 14 birdies total. Chris Gotterup trails by three shots after posting a 3-under 67. Gotterup seeks his fourth victory this season.
Sungjae Im entered the week ranked No. 40 in FedExCup standings. He is currently projected to finish No. 28. Im has advanced to the TOUR Championship in each of his first seven seasons on TOUR.
Following this week's BMW Championship, the top 30 players will advance to next week's TOUR Championship.
Several players are projected to move into the top 30. Gary Woodland finished 2nd and will advance from No. 31 to No. 17. Sungjae Im tied for 4th and will move from No. 40 to No. 28. Michael Thorbjornsen tied for 6th and will climb from No. 41 to No. 30.
