Lucas Glover carded a bogey-free 8-under 63 on Friday. His score came two strokes shy of his career-low round of 61. He shot 61 twice: during Round 3 of the 2019 Shriners Children's Open, where he finished T7, and Round 2 of the 2016 Wyndham Championship, where he finished T22.

This 8-under round marks his second-best score in 53 career rounds at TPC Deere Run. His best score at this venue remains a 62, which he shot during Round 2 in 2013.

At 46 years old, Glover produced the lowest round by any player that age or older on TOUR this season. His 8-under surpassed Jason Dufner's previous-best 7-under from Round 2 of the American Express.

Glover holds an 18-hole lead or co-lead for the ninth time on TOUR. His most recent lead came at the 2025 PLAYERS Championship, where he finished T3. Notably, he has converted zero of his eight previous leads into victories.

Over his last 16 tournament starts, Glover recorded four top-10 finishes. These included a T5 finish in 2025, a T6 finish in 2023, a victory in 2021, and a T10 finish in 2019.

This season, Glover logged two top-25 finishes across 15 starts. He placed T24 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard and T14 at the Cadillac Championship.

Glover owns six TOUR titles from 581 career starts. His victories came in 2023 (FedEx St. Jude Championship and Wyndham Championship), 2021 (John Deere Classic), 2011 (Truist Championship), 2009 (U.S. Open Championship), and 2005 (FUNAI Classic at the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort).
