Waiver Wire Targets

Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets: Five Players to Consider

Posted on November 11, 2025December 22, 2025 by bettherent

After an action-packed Week 10, several players delivered standout performances that should put them on your fantasy football radar. Here are five players worth adding from the waiver wire heading into Week 11.

Tez Johnson, WR – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 10 Stats (vs. Patriots): 4 receptions, 5 targets, 42 yards, 2 TDs

The rookie wide receiver continues to capitalize on increased opportunities with Tampa Bay’s depleted receiving corps. With Mike Evans on injured reserve (potentially returning for playoffs) and Chris Godwin sidelined, Johnson has found the end zone in three of his last four games. His chemistry with Baker Mayfield is undeniable, as he hauled in two crucial touchdowns in the Buccaneers’ 28-23 loss to the Patriots.

Why Add Him: Johnson has emerged as a reliable red-zone weapon for Baker Mayfield, scoring touchdowns on back-to-back possessions in the fourth quarter to keep Tampa Bay in the game. With 19 catches for 255 yards and six touchdowns on the season, he’s become a valuable flex option in PPR formats. The seventh-round rookie has been particularly efficient, averaging one touchdown per game over his last four contests. His increased role in a pass-heavy offense makes him a weekly starter as long as the Bucs remain shorthanded at receiver.

Tyler Lockett, WR – Las Vegas Raiders

Week 10 Stats (at Broncos, Thursday Night): 5 receptions, 6 targets, 44 yards

After signing with the Raiders in late October, Lockett played his second game with Las Vegas and immediately rekindled his connection with former Seahawks teammate Geno Smith. In the Raiders’ first game without traded receiver Jakobi Meyers, Lockett led the team in receptions, receiving yards, and targets in the 10-7 loss to Denver.

Why Add Him: The reunion with Geno Smith could unlock Lockett’s fantasy value for the stretch run. At 33 years old, the veteran receiver posted season highs across the board and appears to have earned Smith’s trust quickly. While playing in just his second game as a Raider, Lockett’s 44 yards were more than he accumulated in his entire seven-game stint with Tennessee (70 total yards). With Meyers now in Jacksonville, Lockett has an opportunity to claim a larger role in Las Vegas’ passing attack. He’s a veteran presence who knows how to get open, and his rapport with Smith makes him worth a speculative add.

Tyler Allgeier, RB – Atlanta Falcons

Week 10 Stats (at Colts in Berlin): 11 carries, 57 yards, 2 TDs

Allgeier delivered a vintage backup performance in the Falcons’ 31-25 overtime loss to the Colts in Berlin. The bruising running back punched in two goal-line touchdowns and averaged 5.2 yards per carry. While he operates behind star Bijan Robinson, Allgeier has proven his value in TD-dependent situations.

Why Add Him: With 270 rushing yards and six touchdowns through 10 weeks, Allgeier provides excellent insurance if Robinson misses time. More importantly, Atlanta faces a favorable stretch of matchups against the Panthers, Saints, and Jets coming out of their bye week. The Falcons rank in the top 10 in rushing attempts per game, making Allgeier a solid handcuff with standalone flex appeal in plus matchups. He’s rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues despite his consistent goal-line work and has now scored twice in back-to-back games.

Cade Otton, TE – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 10 Stats (vs. Patriots): 9 receptions, 9 targets, 82 yards

Otton matched a career high with nine receptions against the Patriots, serving as Baker Mayfield’s most reliable target throughout the game. Playing all but two of Tampa Bay’s 69 offensive snaps, the fourth-year tight end consistently moved the chains and provided a steady presence in the passing game.

Why Add Him: The tight end position is notoriously thin in fantasy, and Otton has quietly become one of the most consistent options available. His nine catches tied his career high (also done in Week 8 of the 2024 season), and he’s now averaging 5.0 receptions and 59.3 yards over his last four games. With Mike Evans on injured reserve and Chris Godwin’s return timeline uncertain, Otton has emerged as Mayfield’s security blanket. He’s seeing a 25% target share when the top receivers are out and has proven matchup-proof. While he hasn’t found the end zone yet in 2025, the volume alone makes him a weekly TE1 option in most formats.

Alec Pierce, WR – Indianapolis Colts

Week 10 Stats (vs. Falcons in Berlin): 4 receptions, 84 yards, 1 TD (37-yard TD catch)

Pierce continued his breakout season with another explosive performance in the Colts’ 31-25 overtime victory over Atlanta in Berlin. The third-year receiver hauled in a 37-yard touchdown from Daniel Jones in the first quarter and was instrumental in Jonathan Taylor’s game-winning 83-yard overtime touchdown run, providing crucial downfield blocking to spring Taylor for the score.

Why Add Him: Since Week 7, Pierce leads the entire NFL in receiving yards with 366 yards. He also leads the league in air yards during that span and is tied for third in routes run. Pierce has cleared 65 receiving yards in five of his past six games and is coming off a career-high 13 targets in Week 9. His route-running has evolved significantly, transforming him from a one-dimensional deep threat into a complete receiver. Head coach Shane Steichen called his play “phenomenal,” and it’s clear Pierce has become Daniel Jones’ favorite downfield weapon. With the Colts facing the Chiefs after their bye, Pierce is a must-roster WR3/flex option who could deliver league-winning performances down the stretch.

Bottom Line

If you’re looking for immediate impact, prioritize Alec Pierce and Cade Otton – Pierce is a legitimate WR2/3 with his recent target volume, while Otton is a top-12 tight end as long as Tampa Bay’s injuries persist. Tez Johnson is a touchdown-dependent flex play with spike-week potential. Tyler Allgeier is the perfect handcuff for Robinson owners and has standalone value in favorable matchups. Tyler Lockett is a veteran flier worth adding in deeper leagues given his connection with Geno Smith.

Target these players on waivers before your league mates catch on!
